Recipes in a jar are handcrafted by artisans from the social economy , through work preparation or integration programs piloted by schools or organizations that welcome marginalized clienteles.
These environments dedicated to students with severe learning disabilities, or to disadvantaged workers, have a pressing need for internship/work environments that offer authentic and concrete work experience to participants.
Recipes in a jar is thus proud to contribute to the development of a network of social economy artisans throughout Quebec.
"So far, in schools alone, more than 800 young artisans have contributed to the production of Recipes in a jar. We are proud of this unique mobilization of the capacities of the social economy."
